Method number 1: Enter the game with it. Edit Objects Dialog Box Use Logic: GruntStartingPoint with Powerup: = 2 ... other fieldz as necessary Method number 2: Cover it up. Edit Objects Dialog Box Use Logic: CoveredPowerUp with Powerup: = 2 ... other fieldz as necessary Method number 3: Leave it in plain sight. Edit Objects Dialog Box Use Logic: InGameIcon with Image_Set: = GAME_INGAMEICONZ_TOOLZ_BOOMERANGZ Method number 4: Put it in a Giant Rock. No matter what 'team' they are on, a Gauntletz Grunt, (Suicide) Bomber Grunt or Time Bombz Grunt can break or blow up a Giant Rock, or a Shovel Grunt can dig up a Time Bomb next to a Giant Rock, revealing the Tool in the middle, where Tile #290 was placed. Method number 5: Ask for it. One of the solver's Gruntz can use a Megaphone to call for the Tool. Method number 6: Steal it (back). Turn a Tool Thief carrying the Tool into a Goo Puddle , then pick up the Tool he leavez behind. |

Boomerangz are very effective, long-range offensive weapons, doing its damage via remote control! Throwing on a diagonal, it can reach only five Tilez away, but the arc of the throw is such that it hitz something six Tilez away on its way out, and on its way back to the thrower! One throw of a Boomerang can severely reduce the health of almost two dozen Gruntz. One problem with it, is it doesn't distinguish between friend and foe; throw at an enemy over there -> and a friendly Grunt in the way getz hit first, and on its return arc to the thrower, a friendly Grunt over here <- can also get hit by it. There is one major drawback to having a Boomerang and throwing it at an enemy; the thrower has to be standing in exactly the same place when the Boomerang comes back, or it is lost forever. You can move away from an attack, but you have to make it right back to the spot from which you threw it, in order to catch it again. I have hit as many as five enemy Gruntz with a single throw, but believe it is possible to hit as many as twenty-seven if the thrower is on the edge of a circular arrangement of enemy (Post Guard) Gruntz. In my Tool Strength testing CL I hit twenty-two of twenty-nine Gruntz I had defined four timez out of four throwz, and another five once out of the same four throwz, but my arrangement could have been better designed. So a Boomerang can reduce enemy health by 132 to 147 pointz in a single throw! Missile speed: 200 millisecondz per tile to the target ... and back |
