“WEAPONLESS”
Walkthrough by Oldone
There are many little townz on asteroidz in the deep reachez of space. Most are average ordinary
placez with an average ordinary mix of citizens. There is one asteroid belt however, which at one
time was so peace loving and carefree that there was no law enforcement. The only law they had was
"No Weaponz of Any Kind are Allowed!"
Well, word got around and soon there were many corrupt individualz coming from all over the
galaxy with weaponz of every kind imaginable. Murder and mayhem began to rule. Soon the
townzgruntz were wiped out and with his dying breath, the captain of a small space station put out
a call for help. Fortunately, it was picked up by the Sheriff in the town of Groan. Needless to say,
he packed up his trusty gauntletz and everything else he thought he could possibly use and off he
went to save the townz from evil.
Unfortunately, he had a little accident along the way and managed to lose all his luggage. Oh no!
How will our fearless Sheriff overcome the malious influence that has permeated this sector of the
galaxy without weaponz. Stay tuned for the exciting adventu. . . Oh wait! Sorry, I guess I got a little
carried away! So--let's just play the game and find out.
1. Simply kill the enemiez by stepping on the switchez. Then start picking up coinz, step into the UFO, and get the rest of the coinz. (Oh yea, there’s a blue toggle switch on all but the last island. Don’t forget to hit it.) How easy is that?
2. Pick up the pogo stick on the way to the island. Simply give a toy to each enemy and watch them jump away. (If one jumps onto the crumble bridge and uses a lot of tilez, then you might want to start again. Of course that’s up to you.)
3. Hit the secret switch, watch the carnage, pick up all the coins and step on the lava gyser. Do you believe how easy this is??
4. The object here is to lure the toobz through the silver pyramidz (or up to the arrow. . .either way squishes ‘em good!) What? You say that one won’t get lured? Then find that odd looking tile (you know. . .the one by the pyramidz) and step on it. Maybe that will help. Pick up all the coinz.
5. Hit the orange and black switchez, then the silver one. Be quick here and use the diagonal whenever you can. Hah! You must be getting bored with the simplicity of it all.
6. Again, the object is to lure the enemiez close to the edge or to the holey area and then give them a toy. But first, you need to get that shovel to dig up those three moundz. It’s really not very hard, so I’ll let you figure it out, shall I? What do you mean “NO?” OK, but don’t go tellin’ everybody. From the down pyramid on the left of the switch, walk straight left until you’re directly in front of the shovel. Step down to attract him and then up and straight back to the switch. (Ouch!) The shovel should follow you and stop in the center of the three moundz. Yes, you’ll get hit, but you’re not a wus, you can take it. You’re effectively protected by the pyramidz now. Step back on the landing and then to the down pyramid at the left of the switch again. Now go for a toy and give it to the shovel. Once he’s gone, restore your health and go for the boxer. Stay low and get the swordz next, then one of the gauntletz. Find the RW trigger and when you come back, get the other guy. (If you were lucky and had a toy left over from the crumble bridge island, you could save yourself a headache and use it on the shovelz. Then you would have one more left over here. Save it on the space station to use later.) Pick up all the coinz. Now then, that wasn’t so hard, was it?
7. On this one, save before you hit the landing tile. Ready? Immediately run to the down green pyramid and stay there and fight until the enemy is gone. Pick up the coin and enter the return warp. Head to the right, then up, left and up and down squishing the leftover enemiez on the arrowz. I left some cola around just in case those nastiez were left in a position to hit you.
8. You really don’t want to fight anybody here, so pick up the ball (ignore the timebomber), go stand directly below the switch, give the ball to the sword and immediately step one tile to the left. Now try not to step on that switch again. (You are saving, aren’t you?) Carefully pick up the coinz, find the RW trigger (watch that switch) and go back to the station.
Resurrect the Station Captain. Put him close to, but not on, the BHS.
9. Depending on whether or not you have a toy, the next part is either easy or tight. If you have a toy, lure the gauntletz and give it to him. If not, lure the gauntletz, run to cross over to the upper bridge, and have your buddy step on the switch. Either way, this gauntletz is history. Go pick up the squeak toy. Run all the way to the right and up to the left of the purple switch. Give the toy to the enemy and step on the BOTS. Get the toy and coin. Back to the left now. Run diagonally up(don’t get too far ahead of the enemy or he’ll take a shortcut) to the left of the purple switch and give him the toy. Hit the BOTS and take the shortcut back to the toy and coin. Take the shortcut back to the switch because if you go around the bottom, you will lure the next enemy before you’re ready to deal with him. Go down and left for the next enemy. Take the shortcut back to the toy and coin. Now lure the last enemy to the space between the two black pyramidz. Go back and get the coin and “justincaseyougothit” cola. Go to the blue hold switch. Whoa!
Take the Warpstone to the King. Yea! You got a perfect.
All the RW triggers are either on the one tile that’s different on the island, or you’re forced to step on it. All the coinz are right in the open so just look around. And if you missed something, you can always go back and get it.
