Gremez:

The newest Doughnut fad is "Krispy Kremes" … which you might want to munch on while you are solving this "High on Sweetz" puzzle.

Gruntz:

You begin the game with Gauntletz and Bare-handed Gruntz. Toolz and Toyz will be found under Rockz, and in Holez, and be called for via Megaphonez. Holez with dirt in them frequently turn into ordinary Tilez when you dig them up. If not, you may find some sort of "goodie" in it. If it lookz like a Hole with dirt dumped into it … dig it up again! There may be something worth your time in it.

Puzzle Concept:

You will need to find the Warpstone, collecting Coinz along the way. Your Gruntz will need the correct Toolz for each area of the puzzle, to help you find other Toolz, Toyz, Letterz and (of course) the Warpstone. Your Gruntz will learn the value of teamwork, since a single Grunt will not be able to satisfy all the needz of the various Checkpointz. Since you are "on the clock" in this puzzle, you definitely want to satisfy the requirementz of Checkpointz, as this is how you earn extra time for the solution. You begin the game with four minutez on the countdown timer. Most Checkpointz give you an additional ninety secondz, some more (none less). The entire puzzle can be solved with a "PERFECT!" score in less than thirteen minutez. Do your best to keep both of your Gruntz busy at the same time … one breaking thingz, the other filling in and digging up Holez. Be careful with your Gauntletz Grunt, as some of the thingz he can break will backfire on him, while Shovel will not run into such hazardz. Carefully send one Grunt on a long trek to the next task, while the other completez the task in progress. Before you begin play in earnest, let the clock run out while you look around the playing field, to see what is required in different areaz. That way, when you start the clock for real, you won't be guessing whether Grunt "A" or Grunt "B" should pick up that Tool or Toy … you will know which is the correct Grunt to give up one Tool for another.

Where to start:

" Gauntletz Grunt: What can you find lying around loose? Pick it up! Is there anything you can break? Break it! Do you need anything you find under what you broke? If so, take it! If not, (unless it is a Coin) leave it alone … another Grunt may need it later. Is there anything else around that you can (now) break? Break it … until nothing remainz in the area to be broken. Is there anything breakable that you can see somewhere else in the puzzle? Can you get to it right now? If so, you better hustle … time stopz for no Grunt! Hint: Gauntletz will not give up his Toolz, they will be taken away from him. Only then, should you give this Grunt a new Tool. So enlist the aid of a Grunt with superior vision, before you try to break something that may be hazardous to your health.

" Bare-handed Grunt: His buddy will scare up a Tool for him to use. When he does, have your Grunt pick up the first Tool he findz lying around.

" Shovel Grunt: Use it to do what it does best. Did it help you to be able to do anything else? Fill in, and re-dig the Holez near you, until no Holez remain. Look around for Holez that you can reach, and keep using that Shovel. Only when you are certain that no more Holez remain that you need to work on, do you give up your Shovel. By the time that happenz, there will be a number of additional Toolz uncovered, or waiting for you in your Tool Chest. In the meantime, there are a couple of Checkpointz you and your Gauntletz buddy can satisfy. It is not necessary to actually enter the areaz guarded by the Checkpointz right now, but "lower the bridge" (or barrier). The next Tool this Grunt should use is a SpyGlass … lotz of Brickz around, but are they safe to break?

" Bricklayer Grunt: Not much for this Grunt to do … just lay one Brick. Where? Hey, if you can find more than one place where Brickz are allowed, someone has changed this puzzle!!!

" Toobz Grunt: If you will notice there is a small body of water in this puzzle, with a tiny island in it. On this island is a Coin … go get it! Is there a Checkpoint around somewhere that will only be satisfied by a Toobz Grunt? Step on it! (You just might need the extra time!)

" Gauntletz Grunt: Break that single Brick which you (in a previous incarnation ;^) just laid. This is now a good time to "take a little walk in Space", but you will need a little Springz in your step.

" Springz (nee Gauntletz) Grunt: "Man! I'll have to time this perfectly!" That peanut butter cup is opening and closing much faster than this poor Grunt can move. Have you saved recently? Forget about sending hate mail … if you live through this, your final task is merely to operate a Timer Switch, while your buddy does all the hard stuff, risking life and limb.

" Springz (formerly Toobz) Grunt: No matter what route you take, there is no way home while still wearing those Springz. At least part of your journey is going to require actually walking on those Spikez! Be aware of how many timez you step on that Green Toggle Switch! Does it need to be pressed an even number, or an odd number of timez? Don't leave thingz up, when you need to have them down! Look on the bright side. Now that you have lost your Springz, you are eligible for promotion … to a Warpstone Grunt. (Oh joy! I get to carry a big, funky Rock around, for who knowz how long.)

" Warpstone Grunt: Move out of the Silver Pyramidz (if you can ;^), and head toward the King's Fortress. All that remains is to bring the Warpstone to the King. Or is that all that remainz to be done? Those seven Coinz, and the letter "P" just South of those Birthday Candlez beckon, don't they? Must be a Secret around someplace. Try to find it. Or tell your buddy to "hop to it".

Making the King happy: Why, give the Warpstone to the King, of course!

Secretz:

" Secret Switch: The Secret Switch is just South of the letter "R" at the Western edge of the puzzle. Save your game before you step on it, and see what happenz … where a Grunt needz to go. When you are satisfied that you know what to do, you can give your Grunt a head start in the right direction. The puzzle creator suggestz you send your buddy along the Secret Trail, while the Grunt who stepz on the Switch headz for a Checkpoint, for a change of Toolz.

" Red Warp: Immediately to the South of the King's Fortress, there is a foundation upon which you built a Brick, to stop the rapidly moving Rolling Ballz. That space is the trigger for the Red Warp that you want to send your Grunt through. He will be able to pick up seven Coinz, and the letter "P" there. Then return through the Red Warp.
Hint: How do you spell "WARP"? You should get the letterz in that order.
